Rewiring Aotearoa is touring Auckland, Wellington, Hamilton and Tauranga with free community events designed to show you how switching to electric appliances and vehicles can save thousands on household bills. And how solar and batteries can take that even further.
Data shows most New Zealand homes could make this switch and come out ahead financially. At each event, Rewiring’s experts break down what to prioritise, share real-world numbers, and answer your questions directly.
For the Mount Maunganui event on 30th of April, Kristy Hoare from My Solar Quotes will be on the guest panel, available to answer questions on solar and battery systems.

Events run 7:15 – 9 PM in community halls across these centres, and include a presentation, Q&A, and panel discussions.
