Comments on the installation: "The installation took approximately 3 hours, and the installers were very professional."

Comments on the system performance: "So far, the system has exceeded our expectations. I have seen a regular (on a nice sunny day) generation of 4.1 kW, and today, with solid overcast, we have produced 6.2 kW from aprox. 6:15 am to 1:00 pm. As part of the switch to solar, we also joined Greypower's Low User plan and have just received our 1st bill—a whopping $16.61. Most of the savings came from either exporting our excess solar to heat our hot water using a Catch Power hot water diverter (that formed part of the proposal), or back to our retailer. Over a similar period last year, we paid $302.86. "

Advice: "In my opinion, it is a no-brainer; solar is well worth considering."

Comments on the system performance: "The performance of our system is as expected, which I’m delighted with. Currently exporting more power than using despite cranking up the underfloor heating and heat pump during the day. Better household and saving money; great combination. "

Advice: "When I was researching I always heard the comments “I wish I’d done it sooner”. It’s true!"

Advice: "Would not be without it. It does teach you to be less aggressive with power."

Advice: "The enphase micro inverter system as supplied in Marlborough by Goodyer Solar is just perfect for our situation. No extra EMF in the garage and no cooling fan noise. "

Advice: "My wife and I are 80 and we installed the solar because, even though we may not live to see the system pay for itself, we view it as a transfer of capital which is recoverable when the house is sold; additionally we are insulate against the expected increase in power prices."

Advice: "Regardless of monetary value of the investment I think there are other reasons to consider solar. Potential black outs are one reason, likely power price increases is another and finally I think that resale value of our property will be affected positively."
